Paula and Peggy/Tallahassee:

We plan to support our 5 counties with monthly Connect meeting and use the hourglass model topics as our frame. Our first session will be about family involvement using our family services person as a help. After each session, teachers need to implement and come back the next month with examples and comments on the implementation.

1. If we have a need for informtion/clarification on any of the frame topics, can we email her for clarification?
2. If our teachers stump us with an implementation question, can we contact Karen?
3. Will Karen keep us aware of any new research she is encountering?
4. In other words...will Karen be a lifeline for us?

Judy and Pam/Pensacola:

We plan to support districts in Westgate Service area: Escambia, Okaloosa and Santa Rosa :
1. Is it possible to have KE continue with the Adobe Connect meetings and follow the organization of the 10 modules (Texas) and provide the content to a few multiple locations via the web?
2. Should we consider a two year implementation?
3. Are you available for F2F: beginning, middle or end of year?
4. How to support teachers in new districts while continuing to support Escambia teachers. Ideas?


"My thoughts are that if we could have small teams of teachers that applied to be part of the team and then would act as team leaders to receive the information and then share with colleagues it might provide more of the leadership and support. We've also talked about the fact that it might be difficult to have teachers for 10 days over the course of the year, so what about making it a two-year implementation? Would that be feasible? Or do you think there is a way to condense some of the content? Each teacher involved would have to commit to the time frame established and to the necessary data collection. Would it be possible to schedule in a day or two of Karen in person somewhere along the way? Beginning, middle, or end?
